How to Disagree Agreeably
May 13, 2025 | 11:30 AM CT Junior League of Memphis
Members: $10 / Guests: $20 Registration includes lunch and networking
The ability to address contentious situations is a challenging skill for most people. Rather than avoiding conflict, it should be embraced as an opportunity to learn, adapt and respect one another as you work toward an agreement that is mutually acceptable to all team members. This presentation offers insights into navigating personal work styles and communication “hot buttons.” We’ll explore challenging situations, learn to manage emotions, and express opinions in a productive way that leads to acceptance and agreement.
Presenter: Charlie McCarty
Charlie McCarty is a Business Consultant with Dale Carnegie Training of the Mid-South. In addition to growing company revenue, he is responsible for client relations and community involvement across multiple markets. Charlie has experience in several industries including retail, manufacturing, construction, and finance, and is currently in the process of becoming certified as a trainer for Dale Carnegie. Several of Charlie’s key competencies include sales, customer service, communications, and presentation skills.
